Admin/Accounts Assistant


Administration/Accounts Assistant is needed to undertake general administration work, bookkeeping in Sage accounts and to look after the credit control. We are looking for a person who is reliable, adaptable and well organised to join our small team. The successful candidate will enjoy office based work, be computer literate, have excellent telephone skills and be prepared to help with a variety of tasks.  Own transport is essential due to our rural location.

 

Main duties

  • To be the first point of contact for customers via phone and emails
  • To process orders
  • To organise paperwork
  • To enter data into sage accounts
  • To create reports and to control credit and chase overdue invoices
  • To assist the owner with organisation of shows and events

 

Main Requirements

  • Very Organised
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • IT literate
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to understand priorities
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Possess a full driving license
  • Be able to work alone and use initiative

 

This is a part-time post working Wednesday 9:00-13:00, Thursday 9:00-17:00, and Friday 9:00-17:00. Holiday entitlement will be 10 days plus bank holidays. Previous admin experience and bookkeeping is essential, knowledge of Sage accounts is desired. Wage negotiable
